"In Orduna for only a couple of nights during a motor touring trip. Great base to access Bilbao by scenic train ride. Hotel is located in the main square of the town, so an old building styling through with a spa, nicely decorated rooms and public areas. But the fundamentals like room occupancy comfort have not been fixed ( eg no Aircon, solar gain from windows). Opening windows brings in the noise of the square in the evening which is the centre for local socialising and continues until...

"Good location in the centre of Guernica near bars and tourist office. Room was pretty basic but adequate. Good, hot shower. The bottle of water and tea making facility was a nice touch. Biggest issue was the check-in hassle. There is a note on the door to check-in at the bar next door....but the bar was shut. There were several numbers stuck on the bar windows but it wasn't clear which to use and there was no answer initially. Given my phone was nearly flat, it was a big stress I really didn't...

"The place has a lot of personality, and the location is very beautiful. It was not as clean as expected. Breakfast was very standard, not very varied, and was always the same for the 3 nights. Staff was great. The room windows had some old type of blinds which were not very practical to open and close with the help of a clip. The fans provided due to lack of air conditioning were very noisy, they should think about installing different fans, maybe in the ceiling, that look nice, are quieter, and...
