"Beautiful old Villa on the outskirts of town. We stayed in the suite on the top floor which was wonderful. The breakfast was delicious and the host was amazing. Highly recommended!"

"Accueil très chaleureux par nos hôtes Belle décoration intérieure , chambre au calme donnant sur le magnifique parc . Kitchenette à disposition et salon de lecture à partager mais il n y avait que nous a l étage ! "

"Une très bonne adresse. Les hotes sont adorables et se mettent en quatre pour vous satisfaire. La chambre et la salle de bain sont spatieuse, propres, confortables et joliement décorées. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux avec des produits de qualité et "faits maison". Une maison d'époque, tres bien entretenue, à deux pas du centre tout en étant au calme. Nous recommandons."

"We spent two lovely days in Pau and were delighted to be guests in the Hotel Le Roncevaux for that time. It is an older hotel but is nicely upgraded with all modern conveniences. And the location in Pau is perfect for the visitor. The staff was friendly, courteous and made the extra effort to ensure our satisfaction. I recommend the hotel without any hesitation!"

"I wish all of our stays could be as good as this place! The room was a nice size, and surprisingly quiet for sleeping despite overlooking a busy street -- the modern window in the bedroom blocked all noise when shut, and closing the bathroom door took care of the rest. WiFi was very quick in both directions, and worked with VPNs and SSH, unlike several other properties we stayed at. The TV was tiny though, and could not be used with a computer or to view one's own content. Half a star off...
