"Black Rock is outstanding. The staff, from the minute you arrive is genuinely happy to help. Simon took our bags but then came to pick us up at our car in the golf cart. Every experience was like this - above and beyond. Every aspect is above expectations. The room was immaculate, well appointed and thoughtful with a soft blanket on the couch, a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows to see the ocean waves and trees. "we got an upgrade for small money to the highest floor - great room with fantastic view ! The entrance to the parking garage at the hotel is too low for bigger SUVs. We had to pay for a privat parking some hundred meters away."

"Hotel was very very clean and stocked well. The was microwave, refrigerator and even a toaster oven. Bed was comfortable and showed had good pressure with well stocked wall shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Room was new with a contemporary look. Pool was outdoor but no hot tub or breakfast offered. Only one elevator to go to second floor otherwise have to use stairs and all rooms are accessed from the outside. Overall this was a very good hotel to stay at"
