"Beware what the listing for the room says. Mine said king bed studio. Nowhere did it say it was a MURPHY bed, ie not a real mattress - plus the bed angled down towards the head.
I asked front desk if it was possible to change rooms but they said the king bed rooms are not part of the hotel, that they are privately and the hotel has no control.
In addition, I tried to contact Expedia because I booked “Cascade Lodge Hotel” via them but it was impossible to speak to an actual person.

"Great property but it’s not in the Whistler village as we thought it would be. It’s a few miles before the actual village. For someone who not local, he may be surprised like we were.
Overall no complaints! Just that the parking is expensive."

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I booked for four days.The towels had brown stains all over them, the door to the room was very hard to open and close, the bedding did not look fresh and clean. No coffee pot, no coffee, no face cloths, no A/C. It was as though we were staying in a very low grade establishment. Very disappointed indeed. I ended up checking out a day early as I woke up at 3 am with bug bites all over me. During my stay, housekeeping did not come in once. I did not...
