Cari Hotel di Cantón Paraíso

"This is very quiet secluded location located about 1 mile in on a dirt road that really is not near anything. If you're looking for peaceful get away from everyone and everything location this is exactly right for you. The restaurant has a great view overlooking the lake but unfortunately the staff notified me that the lake is owned entirely by the electric generating company and that you're not allowed to use the lake in any way shape or form. The staff was very helpful and most of...

"Would highly recommend this place. The owners just couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The cabins are bright, comfortable, and clean. The location is convenient to the Mirador de Ujarras and the Ruinas de Ujarras as well as multiple good restaurants. The citrus trees on the grounds attract lots of interesting birds. We saw at least 35 species from our porch. Hanging out with their adorable, super friendly Doberman was a big bonus for us."

"Excellent colonial-style building with incredible natural surroundings, but the hotel looks neglected. The room was nice and spacious, but the bathroom smelled awful, like a sewer. I had to buy bleach and use it, but it didn't get rid of the smell. There was a leak in the sink and mold between the tiles and under the sink. I had to report it at the front desk, and they only provided one towel under after inspection. Also, the rooms didn't have air conditioning, and with the mosquitos, we...

"The room smelled of mold and mildew. I thought that if I had the ceiling fan to circulate the air it would be better, the ceiling fan was broken. Maintenance brought a fan and it made the smell worse. By the time I realized that it was unbearable it was 11 pm. I really do not recommend this property"

"Fantastic destination. Great scenery, rooms, trails and staff!"

"Good"

"Everything was wonderful except that the location was 30 minutes away from the Basilica Virgen de Los Angeles which our trip was for. I read that it was closer on the Expedia app. Staff was wondeeful."

"Smooth late check-in, rooms clean - everything good."
