"I'm house-hunting in Hudson, so my wife and I have stayed in a few other hotels and B&Bs there. However, one night in Pocketbook and I'll definitely continue booking there. "The staff is lovely and accommodating. I had booked the only room where pets are allowed though ultimately declined to bring mine. Happy to say there was no evidence a pet had ever stayed there. The room was spotless, tastefully renovated with no sign of wear or tear. Two things that were not good- there is no real kitchen area,(or area to gather outside of our room) it is in a small hallway by the back door and does not have a freezer or ice available. Our air conditioner did not work properly and woke us up throughout the night."
