"There were bugs on our bed. Not bedbugs, but small black bugs. I was grossed out. Thankfully, the hotel was able to move us to another room and we did not see any bugs or anything out of the ordinary in the 2nd room."

"People smoking pot on lakeside balcony. People with dogs barking in rooms. The place is nice, but the guests were dicey. Very good continental breakfast."

"Very nicely kept a hotel with lots of extras. Beautiful landscaping and would definitely come back."

"The property has a lakefront across the road. It has an enclosed structure with a table and chairs. There are several other chairs outside. Our room was comfortable with a small balcony overlooking the adjacent property and a small portion of the lakefront. The bathroom was small with shelves right over the commode tank. Breakfast was just okay. They had apples, hard boiled eggs, several breads, poor choice of yogurt, coffee, etc. Staff was friendly. They also have some Door County wines...

"Owners and staff were all very helpful. Rooms and common areas were all very clean. Good assortment for the continental breakfast. Great access to all the Door County sites."

"A wonderful property. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Excellent amenities. The only complaint was that the pool and hot.tub areas were full of toddlers and.children from open to close each day-no exceptions. It would be nice if there could be adult hours or restrict the hot tub in the separate room (there are two separated hot tubs) to adults only. Otherwise a very nice visit."

"Beautiful grounds and felt like a secluded spot away from highway and city noise. Breakfast was continental, so not a huge variety, but clean and got the job done."

"Friendly staff! Nice view from our room that faced the pool and trees! Clean, comfortable room! Nice pool and hot tube and fire pit! Less than a mile walk (one way) to restaurants and shops in Sister Bay - plus there is a free shuttle you can take after 5PM that you can pickup from the property next door. I would stay here again and recommend staying here!"

"I was very disappointed in the size of the room. It was extremely small and had no place to put any clothes or belongings. They had 2 hooks on the wall and one was so high up we could not use it. Luckily my husband left his shirts on the hangers so we could at least hang those up but there was no other dresser or place to unpack anything. You have to leave everything in the suitcase and take out as needed. Breakfast only consisted of muffins and donuts, nothing more. The only good part of this...

"It was fine, but our room was right by the fitness center on one side so we heard noises whenever people went in, in the swimming pool was right outside her room. Property is right next to the road, so that means it can be very noisy for breakfast. If you go to the next door, restaurant, or sit by the harbor or are even in the pool. It's an older property, well maintained but some odd features"
