"If you’re staying with a lager dog (mine is a springer spaniel) you’ll be put in one of the rooms under the Appleby’s bar. As a result the rooms are dated and in desperate need of updating, and being under the outside area of the bar it’s very noisy (Saturday night especially). I requested a room change and the manager was very accommodating and moved me to a room that was a lot nicer but still on the front below the bar because of my dog. Staff were very friendly and helpful and recommended...
