"If you are looking for quiet and serenity this place has it - however, falls short on the ‘luxury’ title and price. Pros - beautiful outlook from room, very quiet , can’t hear neighboring rooms. Black out curtains were great. Room size is generous. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was nice. "Larchwood Motel is well located. However it is severely lacking in up-keep and maintenance. Upon entering the unit it was smelly - stale alcohol/smoke. We opened up the room (it was freezing) for 15 minutes or so to air it out. The curtains are shabby and ill fitting on some windows. The bathroom was adequate but again shabby, a soiled towel had been left on the hook from a previous stay. The one positive is that the bedding/beds were clean and crisp.
