There were plenty to do from swimming in the pool or the beach, which was literally a step off my balcony, to snorkeling, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and pickleball etc. The resort is on its own lisland however they have boards to get from the island to the village on demand. "Mariposa is a hidden gem. It’s quiet, spacious, and welcoming. It’s super conveniently located- the Placencia airport is about a 1/2 mile away, and the Village is about a 3 min golf cart drive. "Our room was nice, simple and clean. The bathroom door wouldn’t close completely, so it kept opening when we tried to closed it. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the concierge. The bar and pool was nice. The beach sand was nice, but the water was a little polluted. There's not much amenities there. The resort didn’t have activities for guest to do."
