"No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. Chair provided also had food remains, hair and dust from previous guests. Bed matress should have been retired many ,many guests ago. Springs digging in and undulating as lay. "Great 2 night working trip. We had 2 rooms. My room 17 faced east and was large and airy with a comfortable feel. Large bed and nice pillows. The bar area is very pleasant with a good range of food+drinks. A good all-rounder and I'd stay again. Free parking is useful."

"This hotel is very good with excellent amenities. The issues that we had to come to terms were: the room we stayed in with window facing the passage way and noises from the people seating outside; the parking spaces were very tight and limited."

"Just a one nights stay at the Kicking Dicky before a flight out of Stansted, which was chosen for it's ideal location and at a better value than the generic hotels. No issues with the room which is external to the pub, so was nice and quiet. The food was decent with a good selection a beers. Overall a nice find and would be happy to stay again."
