"Very conveiniently located for bird livers as only 600m to Rainforest Discovery Centre. Room is well designed with outsidet but secured toilets which is great for us as we could leave our cameras there during the night to avoid to ac condensation. Staff is hepful, food is ok. "The Sabah Hotel is a lovely hotel. Our twin room on the 6th floor was perfect with comfortable firm beds and was clean and spacious. "We stayed at Johnson Villa and the View from that villa was supernice, the kitchen utensil provided were good and almost everything was perfect. "We stayed here for one night while exploring the local area. Overall the experience was good, the room was comfortable and the location is convenient. But this is a very basic accommodation, and the bathroom was in need of some repair. The owner and family were very helpful and accommodating, and in general the people in this area are very nice. This is a great location for views of Mt Kinabalu, and for local hikes, and also for visiting the Desa Dairy Farm."
