"The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The pool was a welcome facility in the 38° heat and was well maintained and clean. A continental breakfast was available for an additional fee (10€ adults 5€ kids). The hotel was a short walk from the old town of Bergerac so well situated for shopping, eating out and sightseeing. There was secure parking available for a fee but there was also plenty of free parking in a public car park next door. Would...

"Set in a good position. Air con in bed rooms but not in dining room/ tv area. Swimming pool a welcome addition with free towels although shut at 8.30pm. Excellent breakfast spread. Difficult to get served from bar in the evening."

"Staff is not friendly or sympathetic towards young kids. Breakfast with flys all over cured meat and cheese - overpriced and unsanitary. Don’t eat here. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and we left after 1 VERY hot miserable night. It was so hot my kids couldn’t sleep and were dehydrated the whole night. Our smallest child was almost to the point of heat stroke. We just wanted to leave as fast as we could and have some sleep somewhere else even though we already paid for 2 nights to tell you...

"The rooms were cool and large and airy with roomy bathrooms (although one of our rooms did not have a shower curtain). Breakfast was good and the staff were excellent but it was perhaps a bit overpriced. Tennis courts were well maintained and no problem accessing them. The pool area was well maintained but the pool was quite small. The birds were nice at breakfast but the wasps were annoying. We really enjoyed our stay."
