"Out in the boondocks! I chose it in order to be close to the airport for an early flight out the next day after staying at a luxury resort for the week prior. Turned out the direct route to the airport was under road closure (not the Kauai inn’s fault) so we actually needed to adjust our timing in order to make our flight. The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and gracious."

"The swimming pool was under construction. There is a tiny Jacuzzi and a pool but they’re on the seventh floor and get very windy so was not a relaxing time. But since it’s a bit farther away from Waikiki Beach, it is extremely quiet. "
