"No elevator in the lodge, so we hauled our suitcases up the stairs. We were anxious to watch FIFA World Cup soccer, but there was no TV in the room. The meals and drinks at the Lodge were way overpriced. The lodge is between Hinton and Jasper, so there are no nearby restaurants or food stores. The room was clean and the view from the balcony was great."

"The check in was smooth. Only the deadbolt of the door in my room cannot lock. And I found out there is a “Do not touch” sign on the thermostat on the wall when I want to increase the room temperature in the night. The front desk explained that they prepared a portable heater in my room and I can use it if I feel cold in the night. It’s frustrating that you spent so much money for one night and you even can’t lock your door securely and can’t adjust your room temperature by using the thermostat...

"The cabin was clean and had everything we needed with a comfortable bed and towels, and a kitchen area and table. Everything was good and the staff was also good.. We also could watch the soccer World Cup games."
