Having stayed at a number of 5 star hotels in Bali, this is one of the best. The suites are modern and amazingly epic. The location is stunning but there is nothing surrounding the hotel, so this is a 2 or 3 night place. The food is amazing and all kitchens are led by French chefs who are both visible and helpful. Anyone spending time in Bali will know that the locals aren’t good at making cocktails but this is hotel is different and flown in external training. We had a “sea view”, but you get s...

the staff friendly and well-manner breakfast nice with traditional foods

Always love this hotel . Beautiful and unique. Nothing else like it. Staff are absolutely brilliant. My favorite hotel

A little gem. Unique building with colonial aspects. Considerable effort is made to make furniture and artwork match with its history. Staff is friendly, considerate and well trained and make every effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Kitchen is excellent. We would not hesitate recommending this hotel to anyone who can appreciate it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and amazing staff

A great hotel in a lovely peaceful location next to the ocean. We had a luxury Sea View Cottage which was very spacio7s, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The bathroom was fantastic, again very spacious with an open air shower. It is sold as a Sea View, but the vlsea View is very limited, and thro the gardens and trees. Restaurant was very good, great friendly staff and good food. We did not leave the hotel, other than a walk on the beach, during our 2 nights at the hotel so cannot...

Very good hotel, new, excellent appointments throughout

This hotel is a masterpiece in all senses, and especially to someone how likes to be transported back to colonial times. The architecture is simply the finest, the courtyards inside beautiful, the overall feeling everywhere priceless. The reception, restaurants and old entrance lobby are filled with history in every corner with a meticulously work of historic preservation worth to mention. Since the moment we walked in late at night every member of stuff treated us special. You are not just a...

A great place to unwind far fro. The madding crowd

Outstanding, luxurious hotel a few kms away from Mount Bromo. We booked 2 deluxe attic rooms. Rooms were sumptuous, each with 3 beds and a shared living area. Views, when the clouds didn’t drop, were breathtaking. Food was excellent - the best we had in Java. Staff were incredibly helpful. Hotel can arrange trips to see Bromo but do book this in advance. If you want to see Bromo in luxury this is the place for you.

Nice hotel, really well presented with good facilities

Very good property generally and very hospitable staff - would recommend.
