I was looking for a quiet weekend ‘staycation’ with my pup to recenter and enjoy the beauty of Texas landscape. 5 stars. The pool was excellent, great star gazing, and a breath of fresh air from the city. Next time I’ll bring my gal pals to kick up our heels and rent a few cabins as a glam getaway. Thanks! "This facility is so much bigger than I expected. The cabin we stayed in is not new by any means and they have newer and bigger ones but for what we paid it was an exceptional deal. If you have an RV or motor home I think it would be great for a weeks stay or longer. It was cool watching the deer at sunrise and sunset. Beautiful country for motorcycle riding."

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

If you wanted to see what was advertised on site you had to drive to owners house and sit there a quarter mile away At die abroken down patio with a dirty mop. Furniture looked like something you find dumped on side of road. Holes in the walls remote control didn’t work. "
