"Not the best place to stay in Asheville. Facility could use a face lift. On our travels from Florida to Michigan, this was one of our stops. This was the noisiest hotel we stayed at. Not from the outside but from the inside. We could hear our neighbor raise and lower their blinds. The cleaning crew in the morning were slamming doors and other things in the hallway. the room had a musty odor. There are better located hotels in the downtown area. "I would consider this to be a minimalist hotel style. Austerity is the key word. The king bed was the hardest I have ever slept on. The view from our hotel was exceptional. Paying $4 for a cafe americano that was tepid with no refill is ridiculous. It took 45 minutes to get served, and 45 minutes to finally get the attention of the waiter to pay the bill.
