"A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! "

The breakfast wasn’t much and the staff in there wasn’t as good as the rest of the hotel. The hotel overall just needs some updates and upkeep. Starting to look run down, but so was the visitor center."

"Staff that was cleaning and doing renovations was kind of nosey. When we left to go to lunch before i left for work one of them was pretending to be cleaning in the hall but we could tell he had been listening at the door. My company felt very uncomfortable as we left to eat lunch and did not return to the room until I got off saying the men made her feel weird and unsafe. As for the front desk staff they was very professional and got us checked in and out without any issues."

"The property was ok parking was an issue because people was not following the rules and parking extra cars in the overflow parking. The rooms are kinda dated but nice. I had no problems other than that"

"Sadly we only had a short stay and didn't get to take advantage of the wonderful amenities available to us between our short stay and rain. The grounds were lovely, the room was clean and well sized, everything was as advertised. There is a lot to do on site including daily scheduled activities. We would choose to stay here again if we return to the area."

"Our room was clean and all the staff we interacted with were good. The Wifi was terrible and I couldn't get a 5 or 4G data signal anywhere on the property. The breakfast was awful. All the fruit had a chemical taste like it had been sprayed or washed with hand sanitizer. The eggs were cold and very hard. The coffee options were regular and regular with just whole milk. I expected better with it being something you had to pay extra for."

"We stayed in a suite for 4 nights while exploring the Williamsburg area. It was great! We enjoyed the pool. I got some laundry done while we were there. The game room was fun. We enjoyed playing air hockey, fooseball and chess. Stores and restaurants were really close. I went to Food Lion to get groceries to keep in the room. We had a refrigerator, stove and microwave. Wr saved money by not always eating out. Colonial Williamsburg is just down the road. I would definitely stay here again."

"Lobby had a strange odor probably from the indoor swimming pool on the first floor. Room was spacious but the bathroom set up was not good. The shower and toilet were in a space that looked like a prison bathroom painted a horrible color with not enough hooks for wet towels or bathrobes. The sink was outside the toilet room but had no door so you could not turn on the light to use it until everyone was out of bed. The light shined right into the eyes of anyone in bed. The breakfast area was out...

"Overall the property seemed well kept visually. Our room was clean and exactly as pictured. The reason I'm not leaving a 5-star review has to do with the fact that there were lots of maintenance issues during our stay. Upon arrival, the computers were down making for a much slower check in. The staff was doing their best to accommodate despite the issue. The second day we were there the elevator was out of service, and was still out of service upon our departure the following day.
