"Luxury hotel on the beach with plenty of outside things to do. Restaurants and sweet shops are next door or within biking distance. Willets restaurant in the hotel is the best option overall in my opinion, but it can be pricey. Fantastic location and great staff!!"

"The staff was as amazing!! I gave it 3 stars because we found a piece of pretzel on the sofa bed between the mattress and the platform. That's the only thing, besides that the staff was super friendly and helpful, close to all everything on Jekyll, and walking to the beach is beautiful. Keep in mind walking to the beach is not wheelchair accessible. "

"Some of the front staff were very rude and not helpful at all. The room was clean, but trash bags were not placed in garbage cans and the safe beeped non-stop. The extra cost buffet was average. I would not spend money on that again. The power was off and on, which was not in their control, but the front desk staff could have been more forthcoming with information. Also, they did not allow anyone early check-ins at all. I don’t understand why they can’t get any rooms ready before 4. "

"Breakfast was a feast and ran from 6 to 10 am daily. The beds were extremely comfortable with 3 different pillows to choose from. Even though it was Spring break week, the property was very clean, well maintained and very quiet at night. The weather was too cool for the pool or even the hot tub for me but the fire pit was nice touch."

"We did in fact have a view of the ocean, but it was back in onw corner, so we saw plenty of the hotel building at the same time. The room was smaller than I was expecting but comfortable enough. It was nice to have a room fairly close to the elevator. "

"The room was spacious and well appointed. There was not really a beach view from the room, unless you count a tiny sliver between buildings. Our room was on the second floor on the end closest to the lobby. Also, the picture showed a jacuzzi tube, but we only had stand up showers. The floors need to be better cleaned, as walking around without shoes on made the bottoms of our feet black. The restaurant was only open for dinner, and was not open on Sunday at all. "Room was clean but smelled strongly of bleach. We turned the bathroom fan on for several hours and it helped. Grounds are well kept. "

"Reserved 1 bed, 1 bath but got 2 bed with extra half bath. We have stayed at the Villas by the Sea several times in different rooms. As always, the complex is beautiful and well maintained and staff is friendly. The condo itself was nicely decorated and you could see the ocean from the upper balcony and master. "
