"Don’t stay in room 1101! We booked too late to get a beachfront view and had to settle for the “bay” view. But what this room had was a “roof” view, with a balcony whose total view consisted of a giant expanse of roof. Moreover, the restaurant vented its fumes up there, so it was so smelly as to be unusable. We really value our outdoor space in a hotel and were irked to pay over $600 per night for this. Even with the proximity to the gorgeous beach, somehow the hotel was always spotlessly clean. My room was cool and dry at all times, which is a difficult feat for a beachside hotel. I requested a quiet room and was given a beautiful room at the end of the hallway on the 6th floor. I was not bothered by a single noise during my week-long stay...

"This is the third time I’ve stayed in this hotel. The first time was perfect. The last two times they were issues my second time it was extremely noisy, banging on walls all night and people standing and talking in front of my door. This time I was putting in a room where the air conditioning could not be adjusted. It can only be set to 64°, which was extremely cold. Each day I am told a manager reach out to me, but they never do forgiven false promises of a discounted rate."
