"Disgusting and Completely Unacceptable I would not recommend Comfort Inn Splash Harbor to anyone, especially families with children. We arrived around 1:00 a.m., and because my child was exhausted, we had no choice but to stay. Otherwise, I would have left immediately. The hotel was filthy. The carpets throughout the property were so dirty they appeared black instead of their original red color. There was garbage left by the entrance, and the dining area chairs were visibly stained and dirty....

"The room was clean and comfortable. It was a Race Weekend, so the usual price gouging was in effect. The big disappointment was, after paying up for a place just to get a night's sleep and a shower, the Hotel allowed a Refrigerated Semi to park right in front of several rooms and run all night long. Got my hot shower in the morning but definitely NOT a good night's sleep."

The only complaint was that the air conditioner was also an old unit that was loud and slightly damp/moldy smelling. Breakfast was so-so. It would be good if they added a small fridge with yogurt."

"I found the Wingate Mansfield fine. It wasn’t comfortable, but it wasn’t uncomfortable on the plus side. The staff is very friendly. The property is clean. It looks nice. Our room was quiet. We got a good night sleep. The bathroom great and a good size. We had a bath stool in the bathroom that was literally the best seat in the room. The only seat for me to put on socks & shoes and wait for my roommate to finish getting ready since I didn’t want to climb up on the tall beds or roll over his bed...

"This Place was the Dirtiest Hotel I have EVER Stayed in ...Not Jus dirty but Layers of Grim in ALL of the " High Touch Areas .. The entire Maintenance staff should be let go ... The wall around the elevators where Fility. the headboards and desk were covered in Grime( Grime that you could acutely Scrape Off ... The Bathroom floor was Disgusting. The area in front of the main lobby was covered in Cigarette buts .. There where a few events in town so I knew i could not find a mother soon so it was...

"They charged us an extra $25 for our child, took a long time for check in. Breakfast was ok, but slow to refill. Water temp was lukewarm. The room was clean and ice maker worked."
