"We stayed in worse. But we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. Room cleanliness is everything and this hotel was lacking. Sticky and broken tiles, hair in the cracked shower, and what I am choosing to believe was spilled fruit punch stains on the carpet. Staff was sufficient. Location was good though. "

The only major downside was we booked this hotel specifically because it mentioned an arcade and game room, which we thought would be perfect for our 3 kids. However, when we arrived, we were told there was no longer a game room and the hotel signs (and the online descriptions) hadn’t been changed yet. So, that was a disappointment. But overall it was a clean, affordable, decent place to stay on our cross-country road trip. "

"We always love staying at castaway Bay. A few disappointments this time. It seems they opened and closed a lot of the slides. We went to get ice cream on Saturday night and they were out of almost every topping. They said they were out of sprinkles but I saw a box there on the counter. I think they just didn't want to open the new box because it was the end of the evening. There's not a lot of other options so they should cater until the end of the day. "
