"This motel is under construction. No dining, no pool. Doors leading in to building had no locks, no security. Had 3 rooms, all were different---mirror on wall in one, mirror leaning on wall in one, none in third. No instructions on how to use TV. Towels/wash cloths were not replaced, dingy in color. Shower curtain yellowing on bottom. Bathrooms were dirty. Drain in one bathtub took 5 minutes to empty. Hair dry in one, none in the other two. Only one chair in each room. No staff to speak off....

"The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is in a quiet area and well maintained. I’m sorry I didn’t pay a bit more for the single King sized bed room. The beds were not queen sized. Not a deal breaker, we only stayed one night. Over all a pleasant stay."

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility is very old and when we walked into our room it smelled like rotten food. I found a dirty sock and a used flosser under the bed when we were checking to make sure we had everything before we left. Towels were thin and rough, beds were not comfortable. My son wanted to swim so we walked over to the pool area and the hot tub was drained and looked filthy. Pool itself looked clean but the room was not well lit I did not let him swim we just went...

"The door had no latch plate in the door jam. The only thing holding the door closed was the hole in the jam so the door rattled all night. The floor was buckled in front of the bathroom. There was paint on the floor. The TV did not work. At least the sheets were clean."

"This room met our needs. We checked in after 12:30 AM., needed a bed for sleep and a sink to brush our teeth. It met those needs. Bed was fine, the floor was not sticky. The room was dated and basic, but functional."

"Bed is uncomfortable Pubic hair and other hair from prior guest in sink and tub in bathroom upon arrival. Toilet didn't want to flush on first try... Water pressure in the shower horrible but water does get hot The door didn't lock when we arrived. We called and it was replaced within a couple hours of our call. Can hear neighbors through the walls. Unit is on the 2nd floor with 3 flights of stairs to go up."

"You can’t beat this gorgeous location, surrounded by calm soothing waters of Sandusky Bay. The cottage is very well appointed with spices and nice utensils. We will definitely be back, next year or sooner!"

"After booking on your web site, where it stated that there was only one room left...we arrived to find that the property has NOT been open for months. We had to find a room, which was hard on a Friday afternoon. Also, we were worried that we would be charged for three nights in a place that was not open. The mail box was over flowing with mail, there was Xmas decorations still out. We are not happy at all."

"We stayed from Sunday to Thursday and housekeeping never came to clean the room or to provide clean towels, toilet paper, empty trash etc.. The breakfast was very poor, the pancake machine wasn’t working.I guess I was expecting something better."
