"My husband and I spent a few nights here for our 10 year anniversary. The resort was great. We enjoyed being able to walk to everything we needed, the dining options, and the pool behind the spa. The river pool was a bit too crowded with children for us so we stayed away from that. The Mill was a great place for breakfast and lunch, and we enjoyed dinner at The James River Grille twice. "It was really good! The hotel room was clean and neat. There was a rainfall shower head. The hotel is being renovated so the outside looks like a prison but the inside looked amazing!! Elevator needs updating. But other than that we will definitely be back!!!"

"Pros - Super convenient to area attractions. Clean, quiet, private. AC, TV, and hot water all worked well. King sized bed was very comfy! Cons - The sleeper sofa bed was uncomfortable. The cold water in the bathroom sink only trickled, so we had to do everything, including brushing our teeth, with hot water. In all fairness, we didn’t explore all the resort had to offer. Our stay was short and our days were filled with other things. I would definitely return to this property for another...

"Our stay was fine - quick overnight without much time at the hotel. Check in was slow - and you can barely make it out of the reception area without being pitched a timeshare. The rooms are spacious but VERY basic. The kitchens are a bonus but they are not well equipped. Didn't even have dish soap. On the plus side, pool and activity areas are very nice and the hours were great. Front desk is very responsive through text too. "

"Although i've stayed here before and I would stay here again. I must say that upon arrival, the staff was not as welcoming at the front desk. A lot seemed to be happening, and there was a lot of talking and mumbling, which for someone who's coming to kind of just relax, not getting the full attention of the staff at the front desk, it didn't feel unique.
