"Everything was perfect"

"Simple, clean and affordable rooms close to NP entrance. I stayed for 2 nights by myself, only needed the room for over night, good base to start your Sequoia trip. Staying longer or with family I would spend a bit more and stay at one of the more known hotel brands."

"Enjoyed the fact that we were super close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park but the room was full of ants. Couldn’t leave any food inside. We ended up leaving all food in the car. The fridge fortunately was sealed but that didn’t mean ants weren’t all over it trying to get in. The tv didn’t have work, only had one channel with a big pop up infront of it"

"everything here is good but only one bad experience was housekeeping not being done even after not having dnd sign out.. i had booked 2 rooms for my family and only one room was cleaned up .. after spending entire day in sequoia i was hoping to rest in clean room but i couldn't.. also when i asked about where to dispose room trash the staff asked me to bring it down 3 floors and throw it in the common trash box.. i found it inconvenient and not so polite gesture from staff."

"Our tween boys said this was their favorite place they have stayed on this trip. We enjoyed the canoe, kayaks and paddle boards available for personal use on the lake. We attempted tennis, but learned we are not a tennis family. There was basketball available too and a trampoline. The kids were def loving all of the fun. "The best thing is the location i.e.the proximity to the natural river. However, the way the property is kept is not in line with the beauty of the natural surroundings. It's not clean inside and outside-- there was a constant unpleasant smell on the outside - not sure if it was their garbage or sewer system."

"Stayed here for one night as I had some business in Porterville. We arrived very late and the staff was extremely helpful and provided a smooth check in process! The room was very comfortable and clean and it was even in walking distance to the gas station for snacks. They had a small breakfast in the morning which helped us get some food in before a long day. I will have to be back Porterville in a month and will definitely stay here again!"

"The reception staff, they are all great. Housekeeping is at your request, she change the towels, but doesn't leave another roll of t.p., did not swept the floor. Place property is well maintained, unfortunately there's dairies around the area and in a hot windy evening the smell it's terrible 😫. I locked my door and turn the a/c full blast"

"The cabin was easy to find. We were given very clear directions and check in and out instructions. I wish there were better toiletries provided as we had only traveled with carryons but that is a minor inconvenience and not really their fault. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you would need for a stay. The view was great. I loved sitting out on the deck in the morning and listening to the birds, I heard 15 different species!
