"Room was clean, staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was satisfying, pool was clean and refreshing. All was very good. Except...be careful if you have a room on the street side as it is very loud."

"It’s over priced for a hotel requires us to drive to Woodstock and its restaurants and amenities. Although it was not full we were allocated a room at far end of the hotel where WiFi was poor and the room was a bit smaller because stairway next to the room took out part of the space.The pool and sauna were good and clean. "The Hostess at the wine and cheese hour was very kind and helpful. That was the only time we saw anyone! The house is divided into separate areas and we were in the oldest part. The bed was comfortable, bathroom nice, amenities nice but wouldn’t book again because of the very narrow and steep stairs. My husband is 80, hauling luggage up those kind of stairs is dangerous. That would be the only reason not to return."

"We loved everything about this hotel. It was a short walk to get downtown. Rooms were very clean. We loved the different areas for coffee so we didn’t have to walk too far in the morning."

"Our room was not ready. We waited one hour and it still was not ready. We went to dinner and it was ready when we get back to the hotel. The staff was not willing to find a different room for us and offered a free coffee for our inconvenience"

"Toilet in our bathroom was clogged upon arrival and overflowed. Told desk and they said they would clean it up and fix toilet while we were out. We left, came back 3 hours later, and water on the floor was cleaned up but toilet was still clogged. Told the desk again, they sent someone up while we were present, toilet finally fixed. Add to that a barking dog in a room down the hall beginning in the wee hours of the morning. Will never stay here again."

"Beautiful property! Our room was clean and beautiful! Wasn’t crazy about the room overlooking the road and not having dinner or bfast at the resort. Staff was very nice and super accommodating!!!! The hot chocolate bar is a major plus"

"Stayed here two evenings at full rate. Zero amenities – the bar and restaurant were closed both nights which is one of the reasons we chose this location to begin with, there is no one staffing the hotel when we arrived at 3 PM. We had zero Internet and zero cell coverage the second night of our stay. Nice location, nice grounds, nice room, but all of that diminished by the above negative comments."
