Asked for fresh towels daily and ice and it seemed like a chores since they didn’t have enough staff. Parking got full each night. Location was ok … a bit of a long walk but if you enjoy walking like we do it is fine. Breakfast on premise was very good. Beach was nice but must bring chairs . Expected the overall experience to be a little better but it was okay."

"We LOVED staying at waves. Building D beach side was basically ON the beach, steps from the pool, and only an 8 min walk downtown. Absolutely perfect family vacation. The room was not that nice, but it’s a beach motel and we weren’t in it much!"

"SO close to the beach, perfect for a quick 24-hour getaway! There's parking available which was a huge bonus, and it is close to the train station if you'd rather take Amtrak. It is on W Grand Street which is busy until pretty late, so if you are traveling with babies or toddlers who wake up easily to foreign-to-them sounds, this could be tricky (we use a portable white noise machine for our youngest). Overall it was a great stay, super convenient, and had everything we needed for a 24-hour...

"The room smelled very bad. The tile was broken in the bathroom and shifted under your feet. It is very OLD. There were fruit flies and the shower head leaked so it wasn’t a great shower."
