"Just leaving after an amazing 7-day stay at Emerald Faaufushi. As a solo traveler here to celebrate my 50th birthday, the staff here made me feel so special, from my amazing villa host Tharif to the exceptional food and beverage team, receptionist, housekeeping, etc. This was truly a dream trip, and I cannot wait to come back. I stayed in a sunset overwater bungalow (327) which was exceptional. I could hear the ocean constantly, and having my own sun deck and pool was so worth the splurge. The...

The main issue was arranging for transport to the airport for an early flight. We tried to arrange it with the front desk from the moment we arrived. Finally, they said that there would be someone at the desk at 5am to arrange a fixed price taxi. We came down a few minutes before 5am and waited. No one there. Went back up...

"The staff are amazing - nothing is too much trouble. It is lovely to be remembered as returning guests as we were by the staff in the Cafe. The SPA is fabulous and they take care of you extremely well. Definitely go for a Beachfront deluxe bungalow you then step straight onto the beach and have your sun beds close to your room. If you want a chilled holiday then I can highly recommend and a quick 10 minute speedboat ride helps rather than a wait for a seaplane."

"Wonderful views and amenities. Room was clean and well organized. The property is well maintained.
Selection for breakfast and lunch buffet was good. Some items, especially Indian breads were not properly cooked."
