"DEFINITELY NOT what the pictures or description portray. Hotel is VERY old, worn out and dirty. Age is one thing, dirty is something else. Rooms are incredibly small, bathroom is microscopic. Beds felt worn, low to ground. The room smell was stagnant and touch mildewy. Sooo disappointed. Front desk guy upon arrival had faded t-shirt, never made eye contact and seemed bothered by my check-in."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Kendall Hotel. The hotel is beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean, and full of charm and character. You can really tell that great care is taken in keeping both the rooms and common areas in excellent condition. The boutique atmosphere makes the experience feel warm and unique rather than just another standard hotel.

"Rooms were very clean and Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Staff would go out of their way to assist you. I asked for a late checkout, but it was not available, however, they will hold your baggage in a secure area until you're ready to leave.
I brought a suit, but there was no iron available, only a steamer in the room. I did not ask if an iron was available and had to learn crash course style how to use a steamer. It's possible they have them and I just did not think to ask....

"Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym. "

"My husband and I stayed at the Pennyweight Hotel in Boston for a birthday trip to see a concert. I checked the website beforehand to make sure they had a restaurant bc we had limited time in the city. We sat around and waited until 5pm for the “restaurant” to open, only to be told that the ONLY thing they had to eat was a cheese platter.
