"Nice view of chocolate lake for my room. Room was a little dated and needed some minor work like the caulking around the tub but was super clean. I like that I could bring my dog and that the room didn't seem like a designated pet room. Hotel is close to shopping and near to downtown Halifax. Enough free parking to have a spot tho the spots were tight and icy. The night was quite beds were on the soft side but seemed fairly new. I'll stay again when I'm in town"

"Clean room, hot tub was on deck. Super relaxing night. Close walk to main lodge for dinner and breakfast. Sauna was really wuick to heat up and had me sweating bullets. Beautiful views in a great location just off the main Cabot Trail road. Highly recommended. Will return"

"It was mostly clean overall but lots of little things to clean/fix up. The tub caulking in our room was moldy. The floor boards in our room had missing and broken pieces with tape just covering them up instead of fixing them. The microwave was very dirty in our room. One big thing we did not like as fire safety means alot to us is the use of dollarstore extension cords with multiple things plugged in our room. This morning my daughter turned the blow dryer on to do her hair and we lost power...
