"Architecture is interesting and authentic for 100 yrs or so ago when built. Lots of common areas for seating and socializing. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. No AIR CONDITIONING! Fan present but falls short of a comfortable temp when hot outside (as it was for my stay). Staff were friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Explained facilities and processes. Bathroom was clean with a nice cast iron enameled tub/shower. Room was a bit lacking for counter/storage space."

"Informed on arrival they do not honor Expedia reservations. There were 3 of us in line with no reservations. Although it was non refundable because it was the arrival day, they did refund us after the Expedia agent called to confirm there were no rooms. Then, the real problem was finding accommodations in town for that night!!!"
