"Everything was perfect"

"This is a motel style hotel on the outskirts of Sarlat. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with a nice outside terrace. The pool area is very clean with sunbeds. Breakfast was excellent and the owners very helpful. Only downside is that the location is up a steep hill from the town so walking back at night is a trek ,especially as no taxi service. If happy to drive there are plenty of free car parks on the edge of the old town."

"The property is in a great location. It’s clean, safe and quiet and has air conditioning. It is located in old town and just steps from the Central Square. The owners were great to work with. We had a room refresh in our extended. Stay in the cleaners. Did a great job. We also extended our stay last minute and they were able to rearrange rooms so we didn’t have to move. We would definitely recommend this property.. "

"This is an oasis in the middle of Sarlat. The hotel is gorgeous with beautiful decor and very historic. We loved learning about the building. The personnel were so lovely. They were extremely welcoming and helpful. In particular, Katiya was so nice. Her breakfast spread was so generous and I loved speaking French with her! "The reception staff here was outstanding. I feel bad I lost the note with their names because they truly were exceptional. All four ladies that staffed the front desk in morning and evening were people who see hospitality as a calling not a job. They were kind, patient, gave us good directions, listened to our excitement and shared it. We stayed 5 days so we saw quite a bit of them. "Un peu déçu de cet hôtel pour dire que c’est un 4 étoiles. L’accueil n’était pas très cordial, cela-dit le personnel du petit déjeuner était sympathique. La chambre était en dessous du standard, pas hyper propre, avec une odeur de moisi. La chambre n’avait aucun service: Pas de bouilloire, café etc. Même si le covid nous a été indiqué comme la raison, tous les autres hôtels de notre séjour avaient ces services donc un effort serait bienvenu.
