"Excellent hotel"

"Hi, real quick. The pool bar had no staff there the entire stay. The "market " had a private function and we were unable to get a coffee or a grab and go sandwich. There were no notice of either amenities being closed. We had to leave the hotel and go to the Marriott for dinner one night because EVERYTHING was closed to the public, even though we were guests for 8 days there. Next time we'll choose a better place with amenities that actually are for all the guests of the hotel"

"Great spacious suite. Breakfast was ok. Patio area was excellent but necessary to bring your own drinks and food since there is no restaurant. Parking was convenient but not cheap. Great location downtown."

"This is an older property in downtown Louisville that is fully maintained. We loved the location which was centrally located for bourbon hunting. The staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We will definitely stay at this property again."

The upstairs guest balcony was closed, leaving only a street-level space where I was repeatedly approached by people asking for money and cigarettes. "Had a modern vibe. Very clean, very helpful staff. Wonderful view of downtown. The only issue we thought was the bathroom. The pocket door to the wet room didn't close all the way and looked to be intentional. Also the layout of the shower door made it that you had to reach in to turn the shower on and therefore couldn't turn it on without getting wet somehow. And the towel rack was behind the shower door so you had to step out to get your towel, or leave it on the floor. Minor things but seems...

"We stayed at this hotel for one night to break up a longer road trip. It is within walking distance to the Louisville Slugger Museum, and the parking garage ($25/night) is conveniently located right next door to the hotel.
