Cari Hotel di Shropshire

"Beautiful building, a little tired and in need of some love but seeped in history, seamless check in, helpful staff, room was extremely clean, very comfy bed and a good nights sleep, tea and coffee facilities in room also, spacious and clean bathroom with nice fluffy white towels, furniture in keeping with the period of the hotel, fabulous location, on site car park and value for money, would stay here again"

"Breakfast was enjoyable staff professional and friendly room small and a little dated and tired"

"A terrible stay room was dirty along with the bedding freezing cold the view from the balcony was of the rear carpark and the fuel supply no phone in the the room lights were damaged lack of bedding the smell in the room in the morning was unbearableand as for the staff we didn't see any absolute disgrace never would stay there again"

"The hotel is a lovely old building as a lot of Shrewsbury properties are which adds character to the experience."

"The room was basic and dated. Bathroom was very dated and grubby. Sheets were clean but things like the kettle were poorly situated in front of the tv on a narrow table too far from the plug. Lamps and curtains and such were very dated. Place was like a rabbit warren and very difficult to navigate. Hardly any parking spaces given the number of rooms and long walk back to car. Wasn’t informed of key pad access numbers to get back on at check in so had to walk all the way back to reception and all...

"The room was quirky and clean Staff very welcoming and helpful Food was lovely and plentiful"

"Only stayed one night, got there late but staff member was helpful"

"Fabulous stay, lovely staff, great food 😀"

"The property is unique stairs are narrow but there is a lift. Breakfasts are good but what a performance to pay for them.Breakfasts should be included in price like most establishments.Nice touch to offer a free drink in exchange for not servicing room."

"Waited 2 hours after check-in to get my room. Room was very poor and not worth the money. Pokey little single with no outlook, basic amenities, tiny TV that didn't work. Breakfast team were very pleasant but food was cold. Outdated business resting on its laurels and not reinvesting for the benefit of guests. I should' really have complained and asked for discount but was with a group and didn't want to create any unpleasantness."

"We liked the location of the hotel and the breakfast was nice. Our bedroom was clean and the bed was lovely. Unfortunately there was a strong smell of damp and mould in the bathroom with stained lino. If this issue was sorted then our stay would have been great."

"Excellent value for money, very spacious property suitable for up to four adults."
