"A short distance outside Troon. Peaceful country place. Doors quite loud when closing. Small gap on shower door allows some shower spray to wet outside floor. Inside room lock did not work. Overall peaceful stay"

"I cannot say enough, about how wonderful marine Troon is. For starters, It is a pitching wedge away from Royal Troon golf club for the golfers in the crowd. The course literally passes within 50 feet of Marine Troon! The pool, hot tub steam, and sauna are lovely after a round! But, what makes Marine Troon truly outstanding is the helpfulness, courtesy, professionalism, and kindness of the staff! "We stayed here while attending a wedding at the nearby Trump Turnberry hotel. The hotel is a short 15-minute drive from Turnberry and right on the coast road with fantastic views. The hotel has an ample car park and spacious rooms. We found the rooms perfect for our 1-night stay. Included in the room rate are various cold breakfast items like cereals, croissaints, ham in the fridge, fruit yougarts, milk for making tea/coffee. I would not hesitate to recommend this superb hotel."
