"The hotel is very big yet beautiful. The rooms are spacious and we were pleased to find a hairdryer in the bathroom. Evening entertainment was great but also easily avoided if required. We also enjoyed the selection of pools and meals on offer! Would highly recommend this hotel."

"Team was great, facility was beautiful, good food variety, and very nice ambiance."

"Place is clean but really basic and over priced. For 500$ a night you would expect absolute luxury but was really disappointed. The staff are really nice and friendly which was the only positive from the huge price paid."

"The property was very nice and the room was clean. The staff was courteous and the owner was very helpful. The room had no air conditioning and the power went off for about 4 hours in the middle of the night. It was very hot and difficult to sleep. Also the water pressure was barely a trickle making showering almost impossible. "

"Everything about this place was 10/10! Food was delicious, customer service was top tier, and accommodations were clean. Everything down to the refreshing scents of the robes, no detail was missed. I had an over water villa with pool. The pool was clean and cleaned again during my 3 day stay. Highly recommend if staying in Zanzibar."

"Great food, great staff and great services."

"Everything was lovely about the place and my children loved every bit from the food, to the service to everything. Excellent destination choice!"

"I really, appreciate the care and attention the staff gave us."

"Absolutely amazing! Very quiet during late July, but the staff were so lovely. Food was great, pool, rooms everything just great. Just an absolutely perfect place. Big shout out to the lovely Venson."

"Great experience and value for money "

"The room was amazing - right on the beach so you are staring at the ocean from bed. The service was wonderful - everyone was so helpful and so attentive. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the included massage was top rate. "

"Yes did enjoy the pool and the oceanview was awesome.will definitely go there again."

"This brand new hotel is a wonder...the facilities and staff are great...the restaurant options were fantastic. Super comfortable beds and the rooms are spacious. Can't wait to visit again. "

"Excellent property, very friendly staff and overall great experience 👍"

"The friendliest, best staff , an absolutely amazing property. Area outside very rough."

"Nothing at all to complain about regarding the hotel, it was excellent, but just note that the bay and the tide makes it not ideal for swimming/bathing at all times. But on the other hand, there is a looong pool available, so if the idea is to exercise swimming, this pool was excellent."

"We had a lovely stay at the Baraza Resort. Although the beach, villa and food were top notch, it is the staff that deserve six stars! The entire staff are so wonderful and cater to your every need. This was the perfect stop after 8 days of Safari before our long journey home. I can’t recommend the hotel more highly. We also enjoyed the spa which was fabulous."

"Fint hotell och härliga pooler. Mycket trevlig personal och bra mat. Fin strand med havet precis utanför. Vi var mycket nöjda "

"The room was large and very clean. The staff were very helpful."
