We arrived and checked into our room. I pulled back the blanket and found that the sheets were dirty. This room was also never vacuumed. They moved us to a second room that was supposed to be clean. This room had Cheetos in the sheets. The housekeepers clean the room but apparently do not change the sheets. I then asked to have someone come change the sheets and was told there was no one on staff to do that, but they could move me a third time after saying to me “maybe this isn’t the hotel for you. We can refund you and you can find something else.” Excuse me? I just want clean sheets!! Finally we got a room that had clean sheets. The entire time, we were lugging our luggage and 3 children all over the hotel. The pool is very small and appears much larger in the photos. I wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

I booked 2 rooms at the same time. I called the next day to make sure that the 2 rooms would be next to each other. However, at check-in, not only were the rooms not next to each other, they were on different floors! The lady at the counter was super nice and was working hard to fix the problem, however it took some time so we were not able to get into our room right away. She was able to get our rooms on the same floor, but at opposite ends of the hall. I was traveling with my sister and her 2 young children, so having to go back and forth down the hallway was very inconvenient. Especially giving the fact that I called to make sure that we would be next to each other I was was assured we would.

They are trying to charge us twice for this stay. The hotel does not have the Expedia confirmation number, but the card has been charged twice. One from Expedia and one for them separately. We need this fixed!

The place was dirty my tv in my room didn’t work they include breakfast but it’s no food but gravy biscuits & turkey sausage I still haven’t received my 50$ deposit back either

The room was excellent, clean. Staff was great. The breakfast wasn't quite up to par of any other Holiday Inn I've stayed at, but I can let that slide.

My second stay at the Holiday Inn Express Auburn Hills South. The staff/housekeepers are friendly and professional. It is a well-kept property, the lobby area/rooms/hallways are clean and well lit. The rooms are spacious and clean, though the carpet in the rooms & hallways could use a good shampooing. The property is located in a business area so it's quiet in the evenings. Look forward to staying again.

They only had one dryer and it didn't work. Hair dryer in room was broken. Took it down to the front desk and the person working the desk acted like they were going out of their way to replace it.

the power went out in our room. And several other rooms on my floor I reported it. The manager did not rectify the situation while we were going to dinner. She did not offer us a different room she refused to refund my money then called the police and had me escorted off the property

Definitely short staffed we waited well over 5 minutes for a staff member to show up to the front counter. Elevator was down Only gave us 2 towels (there were 4 of us) Linen on the bed had stains on it.

Very good. Friendly staff and accommodating. Could use some new toasters in the dinning area but food was always good and coffee bar filled. All in all a great stay.
