"Overall a good stay- I diligently look at reviews before booking hotels and so I feel it’s important to provide detailed reviews myself. As you probably know, 4 star hotels in Europe are not actually 4 stars. I already know that so I manage my expectations. The positives of this hotel for our four night stay: close to train station, king sized very comfortable bed and pillows, room was very clean and comfortable. The negatives for us: no coffee maker in room. They only provide a kettle and 2 packs of instant coffee. There is no mini fridge, despite advertising a fridge. There is, as described to me by the front staff, a drinks fridge in the room that is not meant to keep things cold. What does that even mean? When you’re on a long trip like us, a small fridge for us to store juice and yoghurt makes a big difference. At this price point, it should be expected. Staff were indifferent, sometimes friendly, other times not."

"Absolutely wonderful place! The desk agent, Camille, spoke excellent English, was polite, friendly, and more than helpful. After she escorted us to our room and gave us a tour, she was happy to draw a nice tour to fit our needs. The porters and valets were friendly and helpful as well. The spa is huge. The only drawback is that we stayed only one night. Robes, slippers, thick towels, spacious shower, deep tub in our room. The robes were so lush I had difficulty closing my suitcase!!! 😁 (Just kidding, I didn't steal anything.) Oh yeah, the towel warmer in the shower is nice. Water pressure excellent."
