"The hotel was within walking distance to The Landing, however, the walk back is mostly uphill. The parking lot is not level and difficult to walk to the car with our luggage. Breakfast was good each morning. We would stay here again."
"The property itself is very peaceful and full of activities, miniature golf, tennis courts, pool, etc. I was very pleased with the property itself.
The only thing that was odd to me was that I reserved a one bedroom condo and when I got there one other bedroom was locked off in the hallway. I didn't think much about it since I thought, well they don't want me to use it so it does not have to be cleaned. Later that evening when I returned from seeing the Sight and Sound David, I returned and noticed a light under the door of the second bedroom. I was totally shocked. I found out that there was another entrance to that bedroom, later. But ---- there was a 1" at lease gap in the bottom of the door and the floor so I could hear the person and could smell food and hear conversations. I did not feel private from that point on. If I stay here again I will contact the office itself and talk to a person to prevent that from happening again."
"Delightful stay! A little dated but beautiful hotel! Would definitely stay again! Stayed 5 nights! Breakfast room lovely but just an ok breakfast. Enjoyed real coffee cups, real plates, real silverware and cloth napkins!"
"Very nice "old" establishment. Old world feeling and bar/restaurant right there. Hostess' were most polite and helpful. Not a lot to say about the bartenders. They were on their own agenda and not very attentive. Also the room we had was cols as cold could get. No control in room. Control for room out in hall. So when lobby gets warm, thermostat tries cooling, only that air is all going into room and not the lobby it is trying to cool. Over a good relaxing time, just don't waste the bartenders time, they have things to do."
"Our room 3128 was moist, Carpet was damp, no pictures on the wall a beat up old leather couch, with a patch on it. Opened curtain had a 12 foot rock wall outside our window, making the air conditioner work harder. Wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't mold under the carpet. Had a hard time breathing in the room. Hot tub let water run for about 15 minutes was not getting full, had yellow stuff coming out of the ports. Not a very good experience."
"We stayed in a king room with jetted tub. It was in the basement and stank of mildew. The room was run down. cramped and smelly and the bed was so uncomfortable. The barely staffed front desk advised me to use the dehumidifier in the room. Well. There wasn't one. They did bring one to the room and it wasn't up to the task. It was slightly larger than a can opener and needed to be a lot more powerful to be of any use. As for the breakfast it was as bare bones and generic as possible. I had never stayed at a Comfort Inn before. This particular location is supposed to be the very best the chain has to offer. Platinum Award winner and all that. I will avoid it in future. If this is the very best Comfort Inn, and it is this smelly and run down, then I don't want to bother with it at all."
