Quiet location on the edge of a village. The apartment was comfortable but the kitchen was short of glasses and mugs. The photos on the website do not all match the specific apartment we were in - so don't be misled by them! Only one US channel was available on the TV and although the caretaker responded quickly when we asked for help, he was unable to solve the problem. The website forced us to pay in US dollars. We queried this with HomeAway but were give no clear explanation. Presumably we will pick up some currency conversion charges.

Nice Apartment

Cons: - Footsteps of the rooms above were VERY noisy; made it almost unbearable to sleep the first night - Clock in kitchen is 10 minutes behind and the cleaner walked in on us getting dressed and ready to leave. Didn't even knock, just barged in. Pros: - Clean and well-stocked apartment - Nearby to footpath that leads straight to Didcot - Good self-check in system

Nice apartment

Nice apartments, well furnished and equipped with a good quality kitchen area. Very little in local area other than garage, be prepared for a short drive for much else.

I had a very enjoyable 2 night stay for a business trip. The mini apartment was perfect for business purposes to be a little more self sufficient and was very conveniently located. The apartment is extremely well appointed and generally very clean, although I did move the coffee table to reveal a rather horrible mess. As a tip, a small sofa instead of the chairs would be very welcomed as they weren’t very relaxing.

very spacious and comfortable flat

we stayed for one night at this apartment and overall were very pleased with the location and space in the flat. it was clean and comfortable. there were a couple of points worth raising though. strangely we were only able to find one mug in the whole flat which was odd for accommodation sleeping 5 and meant only one person got a cup of tea in the morning. there also did not seem to be a kitchen bin which was an inconvenience. we were using the apartment to stay in after a funeral. we asked the managers if we may arrive slightly early in order to drop our bags off and get ourselves and young children changed for the funeral. we were told that this would be charged at £15 an hour. whilst we were quite happy to pay extra for an early check in, this amount seems very high so did not go ahead. as it happened a pub we stopped at for lunch kindly allowed us to use one of their empty rooms to change in for free!!

It was a lovely apartment, clean and well equipped. I couldn’t get the hob to work though, and there were a few dead wasps on the floor.

The place was clean and very well looked after. From booking to leaving, I did not see a single person, which was great. The only problem was the neighbours once or twice let the doors slam. Not really a problem.

Ideal whilst travelling for business

The apartment had everything I needed whilst I travelled for work. Excellent WiFi, great kitchen, lovely clean bathrooms, comfortable bed, and quiet enough to work then sleep.

Great apartment in a lovely village

Well equipped apartment in a lovely village setting with good access to the rest of Oxfordshire . Clean , tidy and modern apartment with everything you need for a holiday base . I would have liked to have seen a settee as well as two arm chairs in the lounge as there is enough room and this would make it more homely and I would expect shower gel , shampoo etc in the bathrooms which there was not

Short break in a picturesque village

We booked Ashbrook Lets as its not too far from the Newbury show ground where we had a trade stand for the weekend. We arrived quite late but the self check in was easy and the studio apartment immaculate and well equipped. On our second evening we explored the very pretty village and had a faultless meal in the local Red Lion pub. So apart from having to work during the days it was a very enjoyable weekend .
