Well if you are going to stay in Lucca this is the place to come to Celeste and family are so welcoming it was as if you had known them for years,communication was great for getting in if she was out, the premises are in a wonderful quiet area about 5mins outside the wall away, to walk from train station around the wall to the exit port about 30 - 45 mins just google to see, the villa has good security ,the bedrooms are fantastic and bed very comfortable,all the information is supplied for...

The hotel was lovely - a big spacious room. The staff were attentive and helpful especially the chambermaid and the engineering student from Pisa! Breakfast was plentiful and interesting. Very peacefull apart from the market morning when stalls are set up very early in the main street. Alittle bit of heaven in such interesting surroundings. We ate in the sister hotel but think the nearby Foriestieri was 5 Star - highly recommended in fab building. Beware portions are large.

My son and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night out the 3 on our visit to Tuscany as we were flying out of Pisa the following morning. The hotel has a good mix of old and new furnishings and décor. Fabulous bathrooms though a wee bit small. Just the right amount of choice at breakfast in a pleasant conservatory. The property is reaslly nice with large spacious rooms. The hotel is located in a very peaceful remote location with stunning views. The pool was really nice, but could do with some heating and it would be nice if there was a small fitness centre on-site. There was a limited lunch menu based on being so remote. Dinner was great, but a very small restaurant. The couple managing the hotel were really friendly

I love this hotel so much it was my second visit. I describe it as wholesome. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is superb for train station (2mins), city wallls (5 mins) and parkrun start line (5 min walk) Lucca is special and well worth a visit. I will certainly be back next next to stay and this lovely little hotel but please don’t forget the 3 mins plug adapter for Italy and not a standard EU plug.
