"Lied to about availability of the pool when I phoned to ask about the pool hours before check in. They denied it would be closed for the entire stay when directly asked. Closed the whole time. Housekeeping couldn’t have slammed the door to the room next door more times early in the morning if they’d tried. So annoying. They tried to get into the room twice though I’d added a day to the reservation. When I reported the problem to reception, the same woman (always at the desk in the morning) who...

"Front desk staff was friendly. Rooms are big! My son is a wheelchair user, and was quite comfortable moving around a non-accessible double room with his chair. The toilet is definitely too low. Room was super quiet! No noise coming from the hallway. Breakfast was wonderful! Actual hot food and actual fresh fruit salad (from fresh fruit, not cans). The only complaint: none of the 3 ice machines worked!!! That was frustrating. No microwave in rooms."

"As I have said earlier, the hotel is older, which was OK for me, but floor and furnishings were dusty. All the walls had white spackle on them and were not painted over yet. They also did not clean the room or empty the garbage cans during our two-night stay, they just left an additional two rolls of toilet paper. I asked if we could use the dining tables in the breakfast/lobby area to eat our dinner and was told by the fair-skinned receptionist that the lobby is already closed. This was 9 pm...

"The pictures and reviews make this place look way better than reality. This is a seedy hotel that I wouldn’t have taken my daughter to if the reviews were accurate. We were chased to our room my teenage boys wanting to talk to my daughter. They kept knocking, but stopped after 10-15 minutes. We didn’t feel safe and figured the front desk wouldn’t so anything. We only stayed one night. The room was dirty in general - my sock kept sticking to the floor. I found ants in the bed. I highly...

"Night clerk was very confused. She insisted on charging my credit card for a "hold" and insisted I had not paid the full charge for the room through Expedia. We were tired and just wanted to get to our room. The morning clerk fixed the $190 charge that the night clerk had put on my card. Staff needs training."

"The room had no heat on one of the coldest nights of the year. The smoke alarm chirped all night, even after changing the battery. The doors had no insulation, very drafty. The lien was stained. Bath tubs were peeling. The parking lot was very icy. "

"Garbage, filthy, rooms smell and are likely not clean. Some type of renovation going on in the lobby. The whole building should be condensed and demolished. If I could give no stars I would. Front desk told me they couldn’t give me more than 1 extra packet of creamer. The place is giving hostel, no exaggeration. Can not believe I paid almost $200 to stay there. "
