"Communal areas are in need of investment. Our room was clean but dated. Bathroom and shower were refurbished and good. There is no food or drinks served so had to go out for breakfast and meals. Location is the main reason you would stay being central in Windsor right opposite the Castle entrance and really close to the station. The price to stay is cheap so you do get what you pay for."

"Clean room, excellent breakfast bar and all-day menu, lovely view from the brasserie on to the Thames. Also, very convenient to train, Castle, restaurants and shops. Disappointed to have a room with a poor window view on to a narrow passage way. A couple of other minor irritations could be resolved through calls to reception/maintenance staff. I’d stay there again, but would stipulate room preferences."

"Rooms were lovely. Apart from the glass door separating it from bedroom. It only had privacy glass and could still see person sitting on the toilet. Apart from that everything was fine "

"We booked here for Saturday 28th March, the tv didn’t work (called maintenance and this was fixed) and the coffee machine was missing. I received an email 3 days before our stay to inform us there were renovations ongoing and the bar would be closed. This was particularly frustrating as we had booked this hotel in November. There had been no communication before hand, so no opportunity to book a different hotel. "

"I recently stayed at the Village Hotel Bracknell for a 1-night family stay (2 adults, 2 kids). The experience was unfortunately ruined by poor communication and rude staff. Room Issues Our family room was unbearably hot due to a broken AC. I reported this at 7:00 PM before dinner. When we returned at 9:00 PM, it was still broken. Reception initially claimed no other family rooms were available. Only after significant persuasion were we finally given two double rooms. I appreciate the eventual resolution, but it shouldn't have been a long winded negotiation. Dinner Disaster At our 7:00 PM dinner, no one warned us about kitchen delays or how the kids' meals worked. We waited a full hour for food (30 minutes for starters, 30 minutes for mains). To make matters worse, my son’s chicken tenders never arrived. When I asked, I was finally informed there was a "children's buffet." Had we known this when seated, we wouldn't have made hungry kids wait an hour for a missing meal. Breakfast Rudeness The next morning, the manager assigned us a table that wasn't made up yet. We placed our water beakers down, and a waitress rudely scolded us for putting items on an un-set table. I reported her unprovoked rudeness directly to the manager, who offered absolutely no apology. Basic hospitality and communication were entirely missing during our stay. Would not recommend unless you don't mind the poor customer service levels."
