"The staff were very welcoming and as this is a pub the bar was very good. I had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it.
My room was of a good standard but could only be reached by stairs.
All in all I had a good experience and would use The White Hart in Future.
Just to add there is plenty of parking behind the pub. Do remember to log in on the many tablets available."

"Very nice hotel. Recently refurbished - rooms tastefully decorated.
Plenty of parking and excellent breakfast included rather than an add on as in other places."

"My stay at the Angel Hotel was lovely. My ONLY note is that the street is closed off everyday between 11am-6pm so getting dropped off right in front of the hotel with luggage is not possible. Also, there's no elevator, so if you have very heavy luggage like I did, you'll either need to lug it up a few flights of stairs or get help. My room was at the very back of the building and I had a glorious tub to soak in."

"This is a great little place - central, spotlessly clean and so helpful/accommodating. Perfect for a pre-cruise stay in Southampton"

"The website for this hotel looked way nicer than the reality. The pillows and duvet smelled of stale sweat. The mattress was old, and the furniture of a low quality or damaged. The window frames were damaged, and the water pressure in the bathroom was weak. I had booked another stay here in coming weeks, but I have cancelled that based on this uncomfortable stay"
