"The room is set up very well. I appreciate that basic amenities are there - a light on each side of the bed, a good task chair for the desk, another comfortable chair for sitting. We did have to ask for an additional blanket, but it was available. That is one thing that has been a problem in previous visits as well. "We had a great experience at Whispering Winds! The staff was super friendly and the check in process was quick. This is a very cute little roadside motel - the rooms are more like tiny bungalows than a hotel room. Everything was clean and well cared for. The whole place is a little dated but honestly, that really added to the charm for us. "We were in town for a nearby event, and booked a room at the charming Springside Inn. We love historical properties, and I could tell right away that this location is beloved by many. They host weddings (my career) and had a bridal shower, a live dinner and dance show, and were preparing for Easter brunch when we checked out.
