"Beautiful friendly historic location. Excellent food, comfortable quiet rooms and a decent size car park. Service was great and the WiFi was good. Sir Francis Drake used to live nearby for history buffs. Deep in the Tamar Valley AONB there's much to enjoy. Phone signal is shaky in Milton Combe."

"The Blue Lion is ideally situated for a stop over when making a long journey to Cornwall. The room was well equipped and comfortable. There is some traffic noise from the road, but that did not spoil our one night stay. The staff were welcoming and the locals were friendly. The evening meal was excellent. I would stay here again if travelling in this area."

"Das "B&B" hat nur 3 Zimmer, von denen zur Zeit unseres Aufenthalts nur eins (unseres) belegt war. Paul war zwar sehr nett, aber leider nur zur Frühstückszeit (die man mit ihm absprechen musste, "bitte nicht vor 9 Uhr, liebe Gäste") anwesend. Das B&B wird eigentlich gar nicht betrieben, das angeschlossene Café ist auch dauerhaft geschlossen, angeblich, weil kein Personal zu finden ist. Die Qualität des Frühstücks war aber sehr gut und die Einrichtung des Zimmers machte einen hochwertigen und...

"Our new favourite place, absolutely faultless. Food is exceptional, a significant step up from your normal pub grub. Our little pooch was also made to feel incredibly welcome and even served with her own little platter of treats. A beautifully clean and well presented restaurant experience that welcomes anyone whether it be special celebrations or a party of hikers that have just conquered Dartmoor. 100% we will be back and bringing friends and family."
