"Really great hostel! The common areas and bathrooms were very clean, the room was really spacious and the mattresses were comfortable. We got a great view of mt fuji as well. Only complaint would be the heavy smell of cigarette smoke, likely from the previous occupants"

"Overall, a peaceful escape from the city. This is a great place to stay for hiking, nature walks, bouldering and river activities. It's near the station and some bus stops too. I really enjoyed the view from the window. The kitchen is small and there is only a microwave, but it was enough for me. "Check in was a little sketchy, I struggled to find the right door at first and keypad. And when I got into my room, I didn't realize the door would lock behind me when I left. I closed the door to go to the bathroom downstairs and luckily I had my phone on me with my code, but if I had locked my phone in my room without my code I would've been in a really bad spot since there is no receptionist or on-site staff.
