"Matsubaya Ryokan was an amazing experience. The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, and the premises were amazing to stay at. We stayed in the garden view room, and we were very pleased with the experience. The room was very spacious for Japan, and there was plenty of extra fun stuff to do, such as: tea making, a free sake tasting, and a private bath experience. A ton of fun, and a great find in Kyoto!"

"夜中の0時にエアコンの異音で目が覚めました。 フロア中に響く音で眠れず、対処法を知りたくてサポートデスクに電話をしましたが誰も見に行くことができない。エアコンのコンセントを抜いて対処するよう言われました。8月の熱帯夜にエアコンなしで眠るのは難しかったです。 コンセントを抜いても異音は収まらず、諦めて夜中ホテルを出て別の場所で過ごしました。"

"思ったよりは良かった。価格相応だと思います。日本のビジネスホテルみたいなクオリティは期待せず、寝るだけと思えばカプセルよりここの個室はいいと思う。海外の安宿っていう感じ。ソウルの明洞でこういう感じのところ泊まったので何か懐かしかった。受付用iPadで名前等確認して、別のところにいる受付担当の方とWEBカメラで少し話してチェックイン出来る。パスコードがもらえるので、それでロックを外して部屋に入る。 騒音の口コミが多いが、電車の音はやはり線路近いので仕方無い。それよりもチェックインする人が受付用iPadでWEBカメラで話している声が結構普通に聞こえて、寝付こうとしたけど目が覚めた。 価格相応だと思います。悪くありません。"

"Check-in time was 4pm but we arrived at 8am and asked if we could check in so that we could start exploring the city. The room wasnt ready but they allowed us to leave the baggages at least which was great. They also helped us with a rental vehicle to the airport. This is a budget friendly place that provides basic needs and is very close to Shinjuku Station and at the center or everything."
