"Hide (owner) is such a kind and compassionate person. On arrival he gave us fruit and there were many snacks provided in the rooms. Many of the other days he would give us more fruit and then a lovely gift when we left. Every day he was so helpful in removing all the snow from our vehicle before we left for the ski fields. Hide is what makes this hotel such a pleasant place to stay. Thanks Hide, we loved staying with you!"

It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. "

Ken and Ise were very welcoming and helpful with helping us get settled, finding our way around Nikko and just generally friendly and helpful. "Internet drops upstairs specifically the corner room -M. Host accommodating, fantastic location, room is small but if you’re staying nights only it’s pretty good. Has lift. Checkin can’t be early- if you come early you’ll have to wait. Toilet is clean, shower is good. Dustbin, towel, 1 extension power adaptor (Japanese socket only) provided. Bring your own water bottle, slippers are provided. "
