"The hotel is in the ‘Clean Air Zone’. There was no mention of this inside the hotel, nor did ANY staff mention it. A simple word to go online to enter my car registration would have cost me £8 p/day. Instead, a month later, just before my son’s 16th birthday, I received THREE £60 late payment fines. If not paid within 12 days, each would DOUBLE. I had no choice but to pay.
I called Birmingham City Council and was on hold for an hour, only to be told that they couldn’t deal with it and they put...

"To be fair, this is apparently one of the oldest pubs in the area so it's dated interior kept with the theme. The staff were friendly but you might have to wait for service at the bar or restaurant, or reception.
The bar - ran out of draught cider (on an early Friday evening)
The restaurant ran out of sirloin on an early yes you guessed it Friday evening.
There was a definite whiff of ganja on the 1st floor accomodation hallway.

"The room was dirty, with cigarette butts and ash in the drawers along with dirty takeout bits, the toilet just had cleaning fluid sprayed on top of something gross, there was no tea making facilities in the room, the food seemed to be from a van outside and the cherry on top was being kept awake at 2am by a voilent sounding drunk trying to kick doors in until the police arrived, then being greeted with ripped clothes and blood on the stairs as we left."

"Room was clean but very dated however for what we paid we can't really complain. Parking is free in onsite car park you just need to enter registration number at reception. We meet family for a meal, menu typical pub food but all perfectly acceptable and staff very pleasant. Walled outside seating area which was nice for having a drink as weather was warm. The hotel is on the high street so be aware that you will experience some traffic noise especially if your room is at the front. "

"Our stay was not the best.
Dirty cups in room, no milk, very hot room. Asked for a fan which we did receive but it was broken.
On a having a shower the head of the shower flew off and hit me.
Food basic, at breakfast poached eggs were hard and u only got half a slice of bread.
The staff were good, and when i made a complaint i did get my money back.
Overall i would never stay here agsin."
