I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again.

Location was great and although the decoration and amenities were "tired"! The bedroom was excellent and well maintained and the breakfast was good. Great value.

The pub was very well placed for visiting various places of interest to us. The bar and restaurant food were excellent with plenty of parking available. Our only criticism was typical of staying above the pub which was the sound of noisy extractor fans operating in the kitchen.

I love this place so much! Always stay here for work and can’t fault it at all. Staff are wonderful and the food is delicious. Rooms are huge and showers are great. Can’t say anything negative about it.

Lovely hospitality, nice food, nice room and very friendly staff. It might be an idea to inform the chef that a poached egg is not served with a lot of water swilling round the toast, otherwise marvellous. Convenient location

Well presented, plenty of parking, great choice for breakfast, really good sized rooms, comfy beds, exceptionally comfy pillows-best we've ever slept on!! Could have done with a non-slip bath mat fir one room as unsteady on feet- may be available but didn't ask. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and revisit.

The room was lovely, it was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and lots to choose from and all cooked to order, we also ate there in the evenings and again the food was brilliant., there was plenty of choice. They have a big car park at the rear of the property so parking was not a problem. We would definitely stay there again
